Who are we?

Kossuth AviaTraining Ltd. - ie. KAT - was established in June 2007 with the aim of providing trainings based on the knowledge of specialists in approving initial airworthiness for aircrafts and ensuring the continuous air worthiness including maintenance of the aircraft. The trainings are carried out by our experts who have a wide range of both domestic and international experience in this field.

Why are we here?

We have come to realise that there is growing gap in the Hungarian aircraft industry regarding specialists with this knowledge. It has also become really important that the training and knowledge of these specialists are met not only the expectations of the industry but also the EU law requirements, regulations. That is why KAT's number one priority is to provide high quality basic and higher grade training for individuals and companies specialising in aircraft maintenance and other aircraft technical areas.

Who are our partners in training?

Our main partner is Kossuth Secondary School in Csepel who have decades of experience in training aircraft mechanics. Kossuth Secondary School will provide us with a location and the necessary tools for the training sessions so KAT can present their well experienced experts with wide range of knowledge in this field.

Where do we go ?

Currently KAT aim is to cover the already existing training demand but on the long run we want to provide basic and specialised training courses needed by the industry. If you are an individual involved in the aircraft industry or a representative for a company that employs personnel in this field i.e. aircraft mechanics and engineers etc. please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to give you training consultancy, compiling and carrying out training courses to meet individual needs.

What are we providing ?

Please find below the list of training courses that are unique in Hungary and are provided by KAT for individuals and companies in the aircraft industry:

• Training course for clearing limitations of Part-66 category B1 licences excluding certification of maintenance related to electrical systems and equipment and avionics line replaceable units.
• Training course for designers of aviation products, aircraft maintenance providers and operators in subject of certification of aviation products, which is required for running approved design and production organisations, type certification of aircraft and aircraft components, approval of modifications and repairs.
• Training course for aircraft maintenance and production organisations in subject of selection of welding subcontractors, monitoring of welding processes and quality control of welding activities in accordance with requirements of 145.A.75(b) and 21.A.139(a).
